Part of a model of the Canal yard constructed by Brian Irving showing the engine shed, the coaling tower and the 1923 turntable. On the left a train from Silloth is travelling along what was the bed of the old Carlisle Canal.


The eastern end of the model of the Canal yard showing the viaduct, the disused Canal water wheel (built to lift water up from the Eden) into the canal and behind it the Steam Engine House which replaced it.
